1st Lt. Robert Bowe, a native of Helena, Mo., civil military affairs officer, 1st Battalion, 63rd Combined Arms Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Mult-National Division- Baghdad, tests the canal water after being filtered by a recently installed solar powered water filtration unit in Lutifiyah Nahia, Iraq on Dec. 16. The solar powered water filters will bring clean water to this rural village.
