A traditional Soldiers memorial erected at the Camp Striker Chapel, Victory Base Complex pays tribute to Staff Sgt. Brandon Augustus on Dec. 17. Augustus was a member of Company C, 47th Forward Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, who died Dec. 11, while on rest and relaxation leave in Baumholder, Germany.
