Airman 1st Class Christopher Collins rewinds the Mobile Aircraft Arresting System after certifying the engagement of the barriers at Kirkuk Regional Air Base, Iraq, Dec. 16. The north and south barriers were tested after the south MAAS was replaced due to a hydraulic leak. Collins is a production apprentice with the 506th Expeditionary Operations Support Squadron deployed from Ramstein Air Base, Germany, who calls Fairland, Okla., home.
