Just before dawn, Soldiers mount the "Husky," a specialized route-clearance vehicle prior to a mission at Forward Operating Base Kalsu, Dec. 13. The Husky features mine-detection equipment as well as an articulated arm for inspecting possible improvised explosive devices.
