'Warrior' command team presents Soldiers of 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment with Awards [Image 6 of 6]

1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division

Lt. Col. Tim Watson, commander of the 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, awards Sgt. Pedro Miranda, an infantryman from Houston, assigned to Company D, 2nd Bn., 4th Inf. Regt., a U.S. Army Commendation Medal for his service in support of Multi-National Division -- Baghdad during an award ceremony, Dec. 13, at Forward Operating Base Falcon, located in the Rashid district of southern Baghdad. Watson presented the Soldiers of Company D end of tour awards to recognize their dedication and service during the 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Capt. Patrick Soule, commander of Co. D, thanked his Soldiers for their support in helping accomplish the company's mission in the Doura community of southern Baghdad. The 2nd "Warrior" Bn. is part of the 10th Mountain Division's 4th Brigade Combat Team, stationed at Fort Polk, La. The Warriors Battalion, currently attached to the 1st BCT, 4th Infantry Division is preparing to redeploy early next month.
