A Marine with 3rd platoon, Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, provides security as a guardian angel in a Military Operations on Urban Terrain facility as fellow Marines conduct a security patrol during a training exercise at Marine Corps Training Area Bellows, Hawaii, May 20, 2014. The Marines conducted security patrols through the MOUT site to speak to Korean “villagers” and locate enemy weapons caches. Korean “aggressors” assaulted the squad-sized and platoon-sized formations in separate training scenarios, and the Marines quickly advanced through the area to eliminate all threats. Kilo Company participated in the training as part of 3rd Battalion’s 15-day round robin Island Viper exercise. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Matthew Bragg)
