Tech. Sgt. Keith Hackney, C-17 joint airdrop instructor assigned to the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron, inspects the clevis while Sgt. Joshua Sheptock, parachute rigger assigned to the 821st Quarter Master, ensures the webbing is attached correctly, Dec. 6, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. This joint inspection was performed to ensure the container delivery system was rigged correctly so it can be used to drop supplies in the area of responsibility. Sgt. Hackney, a native of Frederick, Md., is deployed from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., and Sgt. Sheptock, a native of Fayetteville, N.C., is deployed from Fort Bragg, N.C. Both are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
