Pfc. Zachary Fleischauer, an Army Reserve Soldier with the 316th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) talks with Joan Mellon, Franklin Regional Senior High Asst. Principal, prior to a Franklin Regional school board meeting honoring graduating students entering the military, May 19. Fleischauer was recognized at the meeting for being awarded the Army Achievement Medal for providing immediate first aid to fellow classmates during a stabbing at the Franklin Regional Senior High April 9.
