Staff Sgt. Eric Holmes and Airman 1st Class Thomas Browne, fuels system technicians assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron, discuss which clamps are needed for the aircraft refuel line on a KC-135 Stratotanker, Dec. 5, at an undisclosed air base in Southwest Asia. The repair team replaced the center wing tank in response to a fuel leak problem. The KC-135 provides the core aerial refueling capability for the United States Air Force and also provides aerial refueling support to Navy, Marine Corps and allied nation aircraft in the Central Command area of responsibility. Sergeant Holmes, a native of Brandon, Fla., is deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Airman Browne hails from Manchester, N.H., and is deployed from Grand Forks AFB, N.D. Both are deployed in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
