U.S. Marines participate in Desert Scimitar 2014 (DS-14) at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., May 12, 2014. DS-14 is a large scale combined arms, live-fire exercise integrating ground troops from 1st Marine Division, aviation and logistical support from 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) and 1st Marine Logistics Group, to ensure that our nation is fully prepared for employment as a maneuver force across the range of military operations.
