A Marine prepares to test out the Lightning Pack during the Experimental Forward Operating Base ’14 here May 13. The pack converts normal walking movement into electrical power using a generator. ExFOB ’14 is taking place May 12-16 and offers Marines the opportunity to come out and evaluate technologies that could possibly be used in the Marine Corps’ future.
