Ed Cubanski, commander of Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound, front left, accepts a key to the city of Bridgeport, Conn., on behalf of the crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Kathleen Moore, from Cathy Malloy, first lady of Connecticut, and Bill Finch, mayor of the city of Bridgeport. The key to the city of Bridgeport will be presented to the plankowners of the Cutter Kathleen Moore, which is scheduled for commissioning May 10, 2014. Moore was a lighthouse keeper of the Black Rock Harbor Lighthouse on Fayerweather Island, Conn., and is credited with saving 21 lives during her 61 years of service.
