Lt. Col. Mario Diaz, a native of Sierra Madre, Calif., who is the commander of 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment "Gimlets," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, along with Command Sgt. Maj. Peter Roethke, a native of Summerville, N.J., who is the Gimlets' senior enlisted leader, serve turkey, potatoes and vegetables to their Soldiers as they celebrate Thanksgiving Day at Joint Security Station Nassir Wa Salam, which is located west of Baghdad, Nov. 27.
