The donations were a part of the humanitarian civil assistance programs held during Exercise Balikatan, an annual bilateral training exercise held with Philippine and U.S. forces to strengthen the relationship between the two nations. “It’s an honor to receive this assistance in Legazpi City,” said Roces, the acting mayor of Legazpi City.
