Fire Controlman 2nd Class Jason Murphy, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70), poses for a photo after receiving the Navy/Marine Corps Medal for heroism after saving the life of a motorcyclist. Murphy witnessed the motorcyclist crash into the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel wall and be thrown into the Chesapeake Bay. Murphy and a friend jumped into the water and pulled the motorcyclist to the shore. They conducted CPR until the paramedics arrived. (U.S. Navy photo/Released)
