Logistics Specialist 1st Class Tyrone Vermong (left), Yeoman 2nd Class Andrew Velasquez (middle), and Seaman Juan Jimenez, Sailors from Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 1 (NCHB 1) and Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) work together to determine their course during a land navigation exercise at a quarterly field exercise at the U.S. Army's Fort A.P. Hill installation. NCHB 1 conducts quarterly field training as part of its Expeditionary Warfare Specialist and indoctrination programs to assist newly-reporting Sailors gain insight and exposure to the expeditionary lifestyle. Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG) cargo handling battalion NCHB 1 is the Navy's only active duty cargo handling battalion.
