Groundwork in its early stages during the Airport Road Renovation project shows irrigation pipeline installation in the Rashid District of southern Baghdad. Soldiers from the Infrastructure Coordination Element Team, assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, handled coordination efforts between the many Iraqi community leaders and contractors for improvements along one of Baghdad's main thoroughfares. The multi-million dollar project was paid for by the government of Iraq and is considered to be vital to Iraq's future economy, said Maj. Tom Clark, ICE Chief, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Special Troops Battalion, 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div., MND-B.
