Pfc. Alissa Grant, wheeled vehicle mechanic, 10th Special Troops Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, toughed it out during the 12-mile ruck march coming in with 30 seconds left in the three hour time limit April 17 here. Grant’s supervisor and sponsor, Sgt. 1st Class Ryan Hufcut, and another sponsor, Sgt. Joshua Skinkle, both from 10th STB, 10 SB, provided her the encouragement she needed to finish in time. Grant is currently deployed to Bagram Air Force Base (BAF), Afghanistan.
