A member of the Maritime Security Response Team's chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive (CBRNE) team uses a device to scan a bulkhead located inside a Staten Island Ferry in search of radiation during an exercise in New York Harbor, March 19, 2014. The CBRNE team can confirm or deny, triage, identify, and decontaminate hazardous material, while tactically operating in a non-permissive, contaminated environment.
