    A carrier-based jet aircraft, appearing to be an F/A-18 Hornet or Super Hornet, is being catapult-launched from the flight deck of a naval aircraft carrier at sea. Several flight deck crew members in color-coded jerseys and helmets are positioned nearby observing or directing the launch. The aircraft's afterburners are visibly ignited, producing bright orange flame and steam/exhaust from the catapult system.
