A newly constructed single-story building with concrete block (cinder block) walls and a red clay tile roof is shown in an early stage of completion. The structure appears to be a utility or residential building under construction, situated on a cleared dirt lot surrounded by bare deciduous trees. Construction is evidently ongoing, as evidenced by an orange ladder, scattered gravel, and unfinished exterior surfaces.

This multi-use building is one of two which 1156th Engineer Company engineer troops and two New York Air National Guardsmen constructed at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels, Germany, in March. Along with other accomplishments, the troops inventoried, reorganized and cleaned a construction supply yard and conducted driver training at the center during a three-week period. (Photo by Capt. Dan Colomb, 1156th Engineer Company)
