United States Postal Service employee Deborah Boetcher and Army Sgt. Gilbert Valdez sort and package outgoing absentee ballots at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. "More than 53,000 absentee ballots have already been processed through our location and now that time is drawing near, we are working extended hours to process all the incoming and outgoing ballots to make sure everyone's vote counts," said Valdez of the 147th Postal Company from Baumhaulder, Germany. The absentee ballots receive top priority. During the last two weeks leading up to the election, the absentee ballots will go via express mail at no charge to the troops.
