Staff Sgt. Chris Mason, a native of Gilroy, Calif., pulls security outside of school undergoing rehabilitation in the New Taji Nahia, northwest of Baghdad, Oct. 15, 2008. Leaders from the 2nd Squadron 14th Cavalry Regiment "Strykehorse," 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad conducted a visit with the Qa'im Makam, or essential services chief for the New Taji Nahia to view projects managed and funded by the government of Iraq. Mason is a personal security detachment non- commissioned officer for 2nd Sqdn. 14th Cav. Regt.
