Two young males are engaged in a ground wrestling or grappling session on a camouflage-patterned mat or floor covering. One individual wearing a black shirt with partial text visible ('BRAWL') appears to be applying a submission hold or choke on the other, who is wearing olive/green shorts with a black knee brace and red shorts underneath. The setting appears to be an informal training or sparring environment.

Joe Lauzon, a professional fighter with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, instructs Cpl. Steven McQuade, a rifleman from Knoxville, Tenn., with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, some grappling techniques at Camp Ramadi, Iraq, Oct. 19, 2008. Lauzone, Heath Herring and Jorge Rivera, all UFC fighters, held clinics at several forward operating bases throughout Iraq during an 11-day trip to the Middle East. The fighters taught service members grappling techniques, stand-up fighting, and fighting in the clinch. After the clinic, the fighters took time for autographs and photos with everyone who came out to the event.
