Three U.S. Marines in MARPAT woodland camouflage uniforms and full gear are working together on the ground near a tan HMMWV (Humvee). They appear to be handling equipment or conducting a training exercise at what looks like a military base or training area. The setting is an outdoor sandy area with additional military vehicles and structures visible in the background.

Service members worked with simulated casualties instead of training dummies to help them understand not only how to treat injuries, but the nature of the medical emergencies themselves.
