Staff Sgt. Lisa Kiesewetter, 65th Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog trainer, and MWD Dan were a team for six months on Lajes Field, Azores. She was his last 65th SFS handler before his retirement March 25, 2014. MWD Dan, a nine-year U.S. Air Force veteran, served as a devoted team member to 10 MWD handlers as a narcotics detector on Lajes. He is now adopted by Senior Master Sgt. Jason Tranfaglia, 65th SFS manager.
