On April 2, McGinnis-Wickam Hall, Maneuver Center of Excellence, was illuminated blue in honor of Autism Awareness Month. Capt. Seth Fort, the commander of Battery B, 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, places blue gel light covers over a street lamp in front of McGinnis-Wickam Hall, the Maneuver Center of Excellence Headquarters. Fort, along with the help of Lt. Col. Andy Hilmes, organized the "Lighting Up McGinnis-Wickam Hall Blue" event to shed light on autism awareness. "This is the first time something like this has been done here," said Fort, a Woodbridge, Va., native. "When people drive by, the hope is that, if they don't already know, they will ask 'why blue?' If they Google it, they will easily find the answer."
