An Australian soldier and U.S. Marines pause in the woods as they choose their next course of action April 4 in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The soldiers and Marines conducted a simulated vertical assault with the objective of clearing the area of opposing forces, hidden throughout the area. The soldiers are with 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, Royal Australian Army, and the Marines are with 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
