Lance Cpl. Elias J. Burne, front, and Lance Cpl. Cody Gammons provide covering fire March 19 during response to ambush training as part of a field training exercise in the Central Training Area, Okinawa. After taking simulated enemy fire, the Marines returned suppressive fire, which allowed other Marines to flank the attackers. Burne and Gammons are law enforcement specialists with Company A, 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF.
