Airman 1st Class Jessica Guinn tightens clamps around an actuator on an F-16 Fighting Falcon, Oct. 6, 2008, at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Tightening the clamps secures protective layers known as booties around the actuator, preventing dust and debris from damaging it. Guinn, an aerospace propulsion apprentice with the 332nd Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, is deployed from Misawa Air Base, Japan. Her hometown is Flint, Mich.
