Spc. Nina Bray, intelligence analyst, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 204th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, fires an M320 40 mm grenade launcher during a M203/320 grenade launcher qualification range at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, March 17, 2014. Bray was the only female from her unit at the range. Bray grew up in Reno, Nev., before enlisting in the U.S. Army, she’s tattooed her life motto given to her by her drill sergeant in basic training, “forever be your own hero or be someone else.”
