Republic of Korea and U.S. Marines socialize March 22 during a celebration of the successful end of the command post exercise portion of the Marine Expeditionary Force Exercise 2014 at the 1st ROK Marine Corps Division Base in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The exercise is a tribute to the maturity of the ROK and U.S. relationship and focused combined ability to operate across the range of military operations. The U.S. Marines are with various units under III MEF and are in the ROK in support of MEFEX 14 which is an umbrella exercise, overseeing the series of ROK and U.S. bilateral and multilateral activities and engagements on the Korean Peninsula.
