A Republic of Korea Marine, left, ensures U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Helen M. Girardot’s harness is secure before rappelling during the first day of the three-day Mountain Warfare Training Course March 18 at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Pohang, Republic of Korea. The harnesses are designed to give Marines support while rappelling, so it is paramount that they are worn properly.
