A U.S. Army soldier in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) is firing a mounted machine gun from the deck of a military vessel at sea. The weapon appears to be an M2 .50 caliber heavy machine gun mounted on a tripod/pedestal mount, with a muzzle flash visible at the barrel tip.
