Pfc. Gage Pierson, Company B, 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, de-burrs a piece of metal that he installed on the body of an old Huey helicopter Feb. 28 at Hunter Army Airfield in preparation for a Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) sling load operation. By using the old Huey body, which has been deemed expendable, the soldiers save money and reduce risk by not using an aircraft that is still in service. (Photo by Sgt. William Begley, 3rd CAB Public Affairs)
