A team from 1st Battalion (Airborne), 501st Infantry Regiment snow shoes across the flats while pulling an akio sled full of arctic combat gear to a rifle range where the team will fire at targets under pressure before moving on to the next event. The 10-soldier team from Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson is competing in the U.S. Army Alaska Winter Games competition at Fort Wainwright, Alaska March 10-13, 2014.
