Shimmin, a Rancho Cordova, Calif. native, aerospace medical technician attached to the 51st Transportation Company, 77th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, quizzes members of the 51st TC convoy escort team on different medical equipment found in a combat lifesaver bag to ensure they know proper use for each item during a CLS refresher course on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Feb. 28.
