    Senior medic checks soldier's tourniquet

Sgt. 1st Class Joshua Brown, a Lawton, Okla. native, 10th Sustainment Brigade senior medic, inspects a tourniquet on the arm of Sgt. Dustin Crawford, an Albuquerque, N.M. native, team leader assigned to the 51st Transportation Company, 77th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th SBDE, for proper position and placement during a tourniquet reaction drill, which is used to prepare soldiers for the difficulties they might run into while in full combat gear, on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Feb. 28. The instructors had the soldiers conduct the tourniquet reaction drills repeatedly to help them get comfortable applying a tourniquet in combat environment. www.facebook.com/10thSustainmentBrigade (Photo by Sgt.
