Staff Sgt. Ken Ebo, an instructor at the Naval School of Music in Virginia Beach, Va., and trombone player for the Marine Corps Jazz Ensemble, Gunnery Sgt. Jonathan Bley, the musician placement director for the 1st Marine Corps District and the ensemble’s bass player, and Sgt. Charlie Arbelaez, a Marine Corps saxophonist, perform for students of Queens College on March 5 at the college’s Aaron Copland School of Music. The Marine Corps Jazz Ensemble is performing at several high schools and universities in the Greater New York City and Boston areas with exceptional music programs to promote the Corps’ Musician Enlistment Option Program.
