    Seaman Gregory Newland directs a light amphibious re-supply cargo vehicle from Beach Master Unit 2 into Landing Craft Utility 1656 at the beach in Galveston, Texas. The LARC-V will be used to deliver hay to cows stranded by water in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. BMU-2 and LCU 1656 are working with the amphibious assault ship USS Nassau to render disaster response and aid to civil authorities as directed in the wake of Hurricane Ike.
