Jackson is organizing a marathon on the base that will take place in conjunction with the Dallas White Rock Marathon, Dec. 14, 2008. To date, 30 Soldiers and civilians on the base have signed up to run. Jackson, from Killeen, Texas, is the squadron adjutant for Thunder Squadron, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, based out of Fort Hood, Texas. Norris, who is from College Station, Texas, is the commander for Thunder Squadron's Headquarters and Headquarters Troop.
