A man throws his net into the Rio Grande on the U.S. side of the border in Texas, as men throw nets into the river on the other side of the river in Mexico. As you can see, it does not take much to swim across this river. The Georgia National Guard volunteered to deploy to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas for all of 2014 to support the Border Patrol with aerial detection and monitoring as part of Operation River Watch II on the U.S. border with Mexico in Texas.
