Paratroopers meet to distribute radios Feb. 13 at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Special Warfare School near Lop Buri, Thailand during Exercise Cobra Gold 2014. The radios will be used to coordinate the strategic air drop Feb. 15. The SAD demonstrates the brigade’s ability to rapidly deploy forces to anywhere in the Asia-Pacific region within a matter of hours. This mission includes a 19-hour flight with an in-flight rig operation to insert nearly 400 paratroopers into the exercise.
