The mystery event included several physically taxing activities that competitors had to complete in order to move through four separate shooting tasks. Competitors from the Air and Army Guard participated in a other challenges over the course of the three-day competition such as land navigation, a written essay, review board appearance, a six-mile ruck march, confidence course, and weapons qualification.
