Sailors assigned to Commander, Task Group (CTG) 56.1 mine-countermeasures team set up an Atlas Elektronik SeaFox at Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Feb. 9. A SeaFox is a fiber-optic guided, one-shot underwater system used for semi-autonomous disposal of ordnance found at sea. CTG-56.1 conducts mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage diving, and force protection operations throughout the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
