Matthew McFarlane, commander of the 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, hosts service members of the Royal Thai Armed Forces at the brigade’s headquarters building Feb. 5, 2014, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The service members from the Kingdom of Thailand are at the JBER as part of the beginning stages of Exercise Cobra Gold 2014. CG14 is a large, multinational training event which builds relations, and betters the interoperability and readiness of the U.S. and Thailand, as well as other participating military forces.
