Spc. Lynnette Dalle, a military police dog handler with the 549th MP Detachment, and her military working dog, Hokey to find narcotic training aids during the first day of validation training. Handler and dog must work as a team and show that they are ready to do so during validation to move on to the next level, which is certification. Each team that certifies is put to work in real-world conditions, whether it is local law-enforcement missions or deployments. (U. S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Trish McMurphy, USARAK Public Affairs)
