A Sons of Iraq (Abna al-Iraq) member completes his registration with a Soldier from the 53rd Military Transition Team, 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team "Warrior," 25th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad, in Fira Shia, northwest of Baghdad, Sept. 12, 2008. The registration is a joint process teaming U.S. Soldiers and Iraqi army soldiers to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibility for the volunteer program.
