Iraqi national policemen of the 5th Brigade, 2nd National Police Division, help a local Iraqi family returning to their home in the Risalah community of the Rashid District, Sept. 15, 2008, in southern Baghdad. The NPs saw the family needed assistance in transporting their household goods to the house the family left nearly two years ago due to sectarian violence in the area. "Some of the families have the resources to move back on their own, but Iraqi security forces are always willing to help," added Lt. Col. Johnnie Johnson, commander of the 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, MND-B. This returning family is one of hundreds resettling to neighborhoods in the West Rashid area of Southern Baghdad throughout the course of the past year, said Johnson, who was the senior coalition forces officer on the patrol.
