Sailors aboard guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) handle a line during a replenishment at sea operation with Canadian underway replenishment ship HMCS Protecteur while off the coast of Hawaii. Halsey is out to sea participating in Koa Kai 14-1, a semiannual exercise that improves cooperation, readiness and the capability of forces to respond quickly to various crises, ranging from armed conflict to humanitarian assistance.
